The A350 thrust reverser mechanism , for which we have recently delivered environmental enclosures to permit dynamic testing at a range of temperatures . All enclosures are interlinked , enabling uninterrupted airflow around the whole mechanism , with minimal temperature differentials achieved by appropriate choice of materials and attention to detail in design . Our enclosures are now manufactured from 68% recycled after use fibre, giving a very low carbon footprint. |
TODAY :
As testing continues on the Bombardier C Series short haul aircraft , K Value are now
engaged in the fabrication of test enclosures for the landing gear of the new Airbus Extra
Wide Bodied jet , the A350.
The enclosure of a complete undercarriage section is perhaps our most challenging project
so far , but having completed similar work on the A320 and A340 we have plenty of
experience to build on , and are proud to be involved with this new and revolutionary aircraft.
